Have you ever tried sharing your indie app on Reddit? If so, did your post get removed soon due to “self-promotion”? Plenty of indie devs know this pain.

I wanted a place to share updates about my apps, and after discovering that creating a subreddit dedicated to just one app is not the way to go unless you have tons of users, I decided to create “r/IndieAppNews”.

This is a subreddit for indie developers to freely share new app launches, significant app updates, and other types of content.

IndieAppNews is my first experience managing a subreddit, and I am still learning how to set up the rules best and moderate it. However, as long as you make some effort when creating posts and don’t post multiple posts per day, you will most likely be fine.

If this sounds interesting, then please feel free to join and post about your great indie app! 🚀
